I hear ya, Jenny! I really don't want that stage either, but I do need to order the outfit. Diana will definitely ask where is the headband? Of course, she's only 5 and thinks the stage is cool too.

That really irritates me. I mean...I do not want the stage. Also the AGOT Christmas outfit doesn't come with the headband. You have to buy the accessories to get it.
Does AG really think we're stupid enough not to notice what they're doing? You can't get get the whole outfit unless you purchase another item to go with it. Geeze. When my daughter was little, that would be enough for me not to buy the items at all.
I bought the christmas outfit, not realizing that the headband didn't come with it. And I was just about to order the Spotlight outfit when I noticed the crown doesn't come with it. Now I just don't think I'll order it.

I think that is really crummy also! Come on guys make a complete outfit and don't make us buy two items to get it. It is just a way to squeeze more money out of people because our dd's will want what they see in the catalog.

I've seen some non-AG tiaras on eBay. I'm hoping no one buys this set and it goes on sale. I can just see that revolving stage going kaput.
I also thought it was ridiculous that the tiara came with the stage instead of with the outfit. I will just get a different tiara from some other place.
I priced a couple of tiaras, and they were expensive. I didn't check eBay, though.
What about the hair piece that goes with the Gala Party outfit, or the B-day Girl outfit? Would those work?
Oooh, the headpiece that goes with the Gala outfit is gorgeous!!!!! It looks like a brooch on a ponytail holder - would even fit around my hair.
I saw a Marisol with her hair pulled up on a ponytail with a little rhinestone barette (child-size). I found similar ones for DD at Claire's. The Marisol looked stunning - she was wearing her jazz outfit at the time.
<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">The hair piece for the Gala outfit wouldn't work since it is only a regular thin ponytail holder with a jewel attached. It is pretty, but it wouldn't look anything like the crown. I also think you could easily make the holder from the Gala outfit on your own if you wanted to.Originally posted by Ponydreamer:

I did not want the stage either, but I went ahead and bought it so I could get the crown. My youngest really wanted the crown and I wanted her to have the complete collection. Marisol's crown is beautiful, but the stage, in my opinion, is cheap and defintely not worth the price. I think the play value isn't there either. My youngest is eight and she took the stage out, had Marisol spin around once, and then it went back in the box and hasn't been out for two months. You could probably always sell the stage after Marisol is retired though because there are probably a lot of people who refuse to buy it now but will want it afterwards.

I am personally NOT a fan of Marisol's stage. I think it looks really breakable too! But maybe you can call and get the tiara as a replacement part? It's worth a try!
I'm sure it's how they are getting people to buy the stand, or stage I guess they call it. Because it's not really that great an item, and moves really slowly, and my kids have tired of it already too. I'm sure they do it to get more money. Same with the holiday accessories. If you look at the items you get, $20 is a rip-off. They show the outfit in the catalog with the headband on so you feel like the outfit isn't complete without it, and you have to spend extra money to get the dollar store trinkets the set comes with.
